Hydration is an important aspect of your body. Our body depends on our water level to survive. The fluid levels in our body help in the proper functioning of the body. The fluid helps in various processes of the body like carrying essential glucose, oxygen, and nutrients to the cells throughout the body, getting rid of waste products from the kidney and also helps in the digestion process.

The fluid levels help to regulate our body temperature and lubricate our joints. We lose water when we sweat, or when we perform high-intensity exercise or activities. Hence, we need to rehydrate our bodies by following a healthy diet.

People are generally said to drink 6-8 glasses of water each day. But the number of glasses depends on your body and your daily routine. Some might need more than 8 glasses each day, and some might need less than 6 glasses each day.

Dehydration can cause dry mouth, fatigue, headaches, low urine input or dark urine color, muscle cramps, low blood pressure, and rapid heart rates. However, if dehydration prolongs for a longer period it can constipation, kidney stones, or may also cause organ failure.
